Explanation:
ても is used for "even if".

So:
Ice cream を 食べても = even if I eat ice cream
A song を 歌っても = even if I sing a song

It's also used for permission:
食べてもいい? = May I eat it?
But literally it means "Even if I eat it, it's ok?"
